  1. What is Occupational Therapy? Occupational Therapy is a broad discipline encompassing everything an adult or child would need to be functional and independent in daily life at home, work or school. This is what we call ‘occupations.’

2. Do you make house visits? Yes, on request our OT will come to your home when necessary.

3. Is Occupational Therapy covered by my Health Insurance? OT sessions are paid for up front, and insurance may be claimed and sent in to your individual provider.

4. What are some conditions that Occupational Therapists treat?

5. What should I expect when working with an Occupational Therapist? Occupational Therapy is a client centered health profession with ongoing assessments of what you can do and what you would like to do by setting goals. Together you and your Occupational Therapist will discuss your current limitations and motivations to accomplish more. The OT will offer advice on how to do things easier and safely.
